Here is the card I am sharing with you today. I made a tall card (still fits in a business size envelop) using brand new stamps, dies, and stencil!
For the background, I cut the white card stock to 9 x 4 inches and blended various shades of blue Distress Oxide Inks (from the top of the panel, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint sketch, Salty Ocean, Broken China, and Tumbled Glass). I splatter some water, white paint, and silver paint using a small paint brush to add some texture. Then I added some puffy clouds using the new Rainbow Wishes Stencil and white pigment ink. I love the texture it creates! For even more added interest, I used tiny heart dies from Rainbow Wishes Honey Cuts to create these cute heart cut outs. I made sure all the ink was dry before white heat embossing the cute sentiment from Rainbow Wishes set.
For the rainbows, I cut out some white card stock with the die, and blended 6 colors of Distress Oxide Inks (Fossilized Amber, Abandoned Coral, Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass, and Cracked Pistachio) using my foam blending tool. I then decided to make the colors a little brighter by using colored pencils towards the end of the rainbows leaving the center part lighter. The clouds were cut out from glitter card stock. Then I made 2 of the clouds into shakers. First, cut out the entire cloud shape from some acetate sheet and layered on the back of the cloud frames (included in the same die set). Then I apply some thin foam tapes along the edge, but I think die cutting out the frame multiple times from card stock and stacking them might be easier (I didn’t think of it at the time!). I carefully piled up some tiny heart sequins on the ink blended background, and placed the shaker frame on top. The rainbows and glitter clouds were adhered with foam tapes. For the final touch, I added Acrylic Hearts in Sugared Peach color on the clouds. I then foam mounted the entire panel on the card base (by using the foam tape, you can achieve the cool window look for these tiny heart cut outs).
Thank you so much for stopping by!
