Hello, friends!! I hope you’re all doing well and had a wonderful Easter holiday, if you celebrate!! I have a colorful, stenciled, floral thank you card to share with you today that combines a few goodies from the Simply Spring Release!!
I began by blending Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of Bristol cardstock with the Daisy Lattice Layering Stencil Set and blending brushes. I used a combination of Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Mustard Seed and Carved Pumpkin. Once the ink was dry, I die-cut it with the scalloped rectangle frame in the Spring Vine Layering Frames Honey Cut Set. The scalloped panel was adhered to a panel of bright pinkish-purple cardstock with Bee Creative Glue, then adhered to an A2 card base.
The sentiment, from the Big Time Kindness Stamp Set (this set is getting a workout in my craft room…lol), was stamped onto the same pinkish-purple cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink, then white heat embossed. The Coordinating Honey Cut was used to die-cut “kindness” and the rest of the sentiment was trimmed into rectangles with my trimmer. The entire sentiment was popped up with foam tape.
I added some pink gems from the Simply Spring Gem Stickers to finish it off.
These bright colors just make me sooooo happy!!
