Hi everyone! Leanne here today and I’m sharing a bright and cheerful friendship card. I used the new Friendship stamp set and coordinating Friendship Honey Cuts to create a custom built sentiment letting a friend know just how special they are.
I started with a panel of Bristol Smooth card stock. I added the honeycomb texture using the Hexagon Cover Plate Stipple Honey Cuts. I sponged on some Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink to give the panel an ombre’ look. I kept the ink very light on the left side and blended it darker towards the right. I tied some black and white baker’s twine around the left side of the panel and then added it to an A2 card base with foam tape.
I cut out a white card stock label for the sentiment using a die from the Scallop A2 Card Frames Honey Cuts. I stamped the “your” and “is a blessing”. I left space in the center to add the die cut friendship word. I added the sentiment label with foam tape. To decorate the card, I used daisy images and two tiny bees from the Busy Bees stamp set. I Copic colored the images and cut them out with the coordinating Busy Bees Honey Cuts. Lastly I added just a few sequins from the Raw Honey sequin mix.
