Good morning!! I hope your Tuesday is off to a great start!!

We’ve already covered the fact that I am totally ready for Spring!! Although we have a little while to wait in Missouri (we have snow in the forecast for Wednesday!), I’ve been pulling out some of my older Honey Bee florals to create Spring in my craft room!!

I began by white heat embossing the largest floral cluster from the Winter Anemone stamp set onto the bottom, right corner of a panel of Bristol smooth cardstock. I also white heat embossed a butterfly from Fluttering By onto another panel of Bristol. I watercolored the images using Karin Brush Markers. I am LOVING the colors and vibrancy of these markers!! Honey Bee is now carrying them in individual colors, so you can pick and choose your favorites!! I used Rose Pink, Red Lilac, Gold, Amber, Ocean Teal, Lush Green and Sky Blue. Next, I die-cut the butterfly out with the Fluttering By Honey Cuts.

I die-cut a panel of pink cardstock using the largest Scallop A2 Card Frames Dies, then trimmed the watercolored panel down slightly and adhered it. For the greeting, I die-cut “friendship” from Black Sapphire Glitter and white cardstock using the Friendship Honey Cuts. I stamped the rest of the greeting, from the Friendship stamp set, with Versafine Onyx Black Ink onto white cardstock, clear heat embossed it and cut it into strips. The die-cut sentiment, sentiment strips and butterfly were all popped up with foam adhesive.

I added some sparkle with a stardust gel pen to the stamen and berries and called this one done!!

Thanks so much for spending a bit of time with me today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!

Brenda
