Happy Tuesday, fellow card makers and crafters!! I hope your week is off to a great start!!

The temperatures are dipping in the Midwest and I can’t say that I’m ready for the cold weather! Although I love snowmen and snowflakes on my cards and in my winter decorations, I really don’t like the real things…ha!! My card today features both, let’s just hope that the real ones don’t make an appearance too soon!!

I began by die-cutting the Pine Trees Honey Cuts from green cardstock and added a bit of Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink to the edges with a blending brush. I also splattered them with some diluted white gouache and set them aside to dry.

The Build A Snowman Dies were used to die-cut all of the pieces of the snow people from white, blue, green, pink, orange, black and brown cardstocks. A B60 Copic marker was used to add some shading to the bodies. These Build A Snowman Honey Cuts come with tons of options to build your own snow people!! So many possibilities!! I had so much fun building my snow couple and then assembled them with Bee Creative Glue. There is also a Snow Day Bundle available, which includes all of the stamps and dies that I used on today’s card, plus a few other goodies for a reduced price!!

For the background, I die-cut the Fancy Flakes A2 Cover Plate Die from white glitter cardstock and adhered it over a white, top-folding card base. The trees and snow people were adhered with Bee Creative Glue. The sentiment, from the Snow Family Like Ours Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam adhesive. I added a few white snowflakes from the Simply Snowflakes Sequin Mix and I was finished!!

I love the tone-on-tone white background with the bight pops of color!! And those little antlers…I can’t even!!

Thank you so much for hanging out with me today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!

Brenda
