Hello, fellow crafters and happy Tuesday!! Brenda here with a Christmas card featuring the Lovely Layers: Doves Honey Cuts, along with several other products from the newest Holiday Wishes Release!! I’m having so much fun creating this amazing release!!
I started by die-cutting the Lovely Layers: Doves Dies from white and two shades of gray cardstock. The tag was also cut from light gray cardstock and the bow from kraft cardstock. I adhered all the layers together with Bee Creative Glue and popped the top wing up with a couple of layers of foam tape, for dimension.
The background was die-cut from dark blue cardstock using the Scattered Stars A2 Cover Plate Die and the largest frame from the Fancy Fall Layering Frames Die Set. I blended dark blue dye ink around the outside of the panel, then splattered it with diluted white ink. It was then adhered to a panel of gold glitter cardstock using Bee Creative Glue.
The sentiment is a combination of the Peace, Love, Joy Stamp Set and the Heart Be Light Set. “Love” was stamped onto white cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and gold heat embossed. I colored it in with a red marker, then used the Peace, Love, Joy Coordinating Die to cut it out. The sub-sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock with red dye ink and cut out with the Heart Be Light Die Set. The entire sentiment was popped up with foam tape. I added a single red heart to the heart to finish off the card.
