Hello Honey Bee friends! Have you been enjoying the new Love Letters release? I think it is all totally awesome! For my card today, I’m using one of the stamps from the Loads of Love in a bit of an unexpected way! You may have seen this beautiful stamp used with the Big Pickup Tailgate stamp, but I had an idea!

I love finding ways to “stretch” your stamps! I began by stamping the floral swag from the Loads of Love stamp set twice in Copic safe ink and die cutting them with the coordinating Honey Cuts. I colored one swag with my Copic markers (I’ve listed the colors I used at the end). Then I thought that just maybe I should make sure the idea I had in my head would actually work for an A2 sized card! LOL! I do like laying out the elements like this to make sure things will go as planned!

OK, so now I know my idea will work! I colored the remaining swag and then created the card base. I die cut a piece of patterned paper from the Love Letters 6×6 paper pad with the largest A2 Double Stitched Frames Honey Cuts. I used the next to smallest A7 Double Stitched Frames Honey Cut to 80# Neenah into a rectangle shape. I die cut some gray card stock to layer behind both of these pieces and adhered each of the two layers with Bee Creative glue. I glued the patterned paper layer to the top-folding card base. I added foam tape to the white card stock layer and adhered it to the card.

To adhere the two floral swags, I added bits of foam tape to the back where it extends beyond the white rectangle layer. I added Bee Creative glue to the rest of the swags and adhered them to the card. I took care to make sure that the flowers did not go past the edges of the card. Next I stamped the sentiment from the Will You Be My stamp set in gray ink and die cut it with the coordinating Honey Cut. Then I added foam tape to the back of the sentiment and adhered it to the card.

To add a bit of bling, I adhered some yellow gems to coordinate that are in the Autumn Afternoon Gem Stickers pack. I always need at least a bit of sparkle! Haha!

I hope I’ve inspired you to take a look to see a different way to use the beautiful sets you have! Thanks so much for stopping by!
