Hello, fellow crafters and card makers!! I hope your week is going well!!

Although it has turned cold again in the Midwest, I am soooo ready for Spring and flowers!! I have a floral friendship card to share with you today!!

I began by doing all of the die-cutting of the flowers and leaves from, pink, purple, yellow and green cardstocks using the Whimsical Spring Flowers Honey Cuts. I added some shading and details to the die-cuts with Copic markers, then adhered the centers of the flowers with Bee Creative Glue. The crate was die-cut from kraft cardstock using the Wooden Crate Dies. I inked on some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink with a blending brush to bring out the woodgrain.

For the background, I die-cut a piece of patterned paper from the Modern Spring Paper Pad with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangle Honey Cuts and adhered it to a top-folding card base with Bee Creative Glue. The Delicate Doily Card Base Die was cut from white cardstock. I ran it through my die-cut machine a second time with the embossing mat to add even more texture to it. It was adhered to the left side of the card and the excess was trimmed from the edge. The crate and flowers were arranged and adhered with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment, from the Squeeze the Day Stamp Set, was stamped with Bee Creative Embossing and Watermark Ink and white heat embossed onto black cardstock, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up onto the front of the card with foam adhesive. Several gems from the Modern Spring Gem Sticker Pack added to the centers of the flowers and below the sentiment were the perfect finishing touch.

That’s it!! A pretty simple card, but I love all of the feminine touches with the rustic crate!!

Thank you so much for spending part of your day with me!! Have a great week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!

Brenda
