Hello! Welcome to the blog!

Today, I’m sharing this cute wedding cake card with you. I think  it could also be a Valentine’s Day card if you need a last minute card idea!

I started off with the simple watercolor background. I just painted navy stripes on A2 size watercolor card stock with a flat brush. For the white scalloped panel, I die cut the same watercolor paper with Scallop A7 Honey Cuts (4th largest one).

Then, I stamped all the images I used on watercolor card stock and colored them with my ZIG clean color real brush markers.

Stamps Used:
Cake, Cake stand, Flowers & Leaves, Cherries: Piece of Cake
Flower with stem: Mae the Mouse
Birds: Snow Buddies

In order to have the bride & groom birds to face each other, I mirror stamped one of them and cut them out with my scissors (since they are so tiny, I don’t want much white border around them). For all the other images, I used coordinating dies to cut them out. I also cut Love word from Piece of Cake die set once from gold foil card stock and twice from white card stock then layered them to make a gold cake topper (cut 2 thin strips of gold foil card stock to complete the topper).

Now you have all the elements ready, all you have to do is to assemble them! On the scallop panel, arrange all the images and adhere them (I used foam tape for most of them and used liquid glue for the images laying behind). Now glue this panel to the stripe panel and we are almost done!

For additional texture, I added some glitter to the flowers, Liquid pearls to the cake stand, and glossy accent to the cherries and cake frosting. For the final touch, I added some sequins and ribbon.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

KEIKO
