Hello friends! It’s Channin here with my first video and post for Honey Bee Stamps!! I’m so excited to be joining this incredible team and to share today’s project with you!!
In today’s video I will demonstrate how to create a full panel shaker card featuring the Bee Mine Stamp Set and die!
VIDEO: Bee Mine Full Panel Shaker
Watch below or on our YouTube channel.
To create this shaker card, first I ink blended the background using the Hexi Patterns Background Stencils with Mustard Seed and Wild Honey Distress Oxides over a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel of white cardstock.
Once I finished the background, I then stamped the bee and sentiment from the Bee Mine Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black onto a scrap of white cardstock and then copic colored the bee in. After I finished coloring the bee, I then die cut it and the sentiment out with the matching dies. Next, I die cut a second bee and sentiment out of blank unstamped cardstock and then adhered the it the backside of their stamped counterparts.
Next, I die cut several tiny hearts using the dies included in the set out of red and red glitter cardstock. I did color the backside of my glitter cardstock first so the hearts would be red on both sides.
I then constructed the acetate pocket for my shaker, by trimming down a sheet of acetate to 5 1/4″ x 6 1/2″. Next I scored at 1/2″ on all four sides of the sheet of acetate and then added score tape to each one of the 1/2″ flaps. I then inserted my ink blended panel and then sealed three of the flaps to the panel, leaving one open so I could fill the shaker. I then filled the pockets with all the hearts I die cut earlier and then sealed the last flap down.
Next, I adhered the shaker pocket onto the front of an A2 top-folding card base with score tape. I then finished the card by adhering the bee and the sentiment to the front of the card with liquid glue.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!!
