Hello, friends! It’s Channin here with a new card and video to share! In today’s video I will ink blend my color loving heart out and make a super vibrant tropical greeting card!

VIDEO: Tropical Greetings Card

To create this card I first die cut two A2 white panels with the Pineapple Lattice Cover Plate Top and Base. I then ink blended the Pineapple Lattice – Top die cut with Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, and Wild Honey Distress Oxides. I then ink blended Pineapple Lattice – Base die cut with Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, and Rusty Hinge. Next, I ink blended the front of an A2 top-folding white card base with Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon, and Vintage Photo. I then adhered the Pineapple Lattice – Top to the base. Next, I die cut the Pineapple Lattice Cover Plate – Base two more times out of some scrap white cardstock and then adhered them, stacked to the backside of the ink blended top and base. I then adhered the stacked panel onto the card front.

Next, I die cut several flowers and leaves out of white cardstock using the Tropical Bouquets die set. I then ink blended the die cuts with several distress oxides (Lucky Clover, Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Barn Door, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet). When I finished ink blending, I then adhered the flower layers together and then adhered them to the card front with liquid glue or foam tape.

Lastly, I stamped and white heat emboss a sentiment from the Sip Sip Hooray Stamp Set onto Kraft cardstock, then cut it out with the matching die and adhered it to the card front with foam tape.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
