Hello, friends! It’s Channin here with a new card and video to share! In today’s video I will create a my own die cut panel with several leaves and flowers created with the Tropical Bouquets Honey Cuts Set.

VIDEO: Tropical Bouquets Raised Panel Card with Channin

To create this card I first cut several leaves and flowers. I die cut the monstera leaves out of green cardstock and the both layers of the plumerias out of white cardstock. I then added color to the top layer of the plumerias with copics. Once I had finished coloring the flowers I then added a gradation to the leaves with Lucky Clover and Pine Needles Distress Ink. Once I had finished the leaves, I then adhered the flower layers together and then put all my leaves and flowers aside.

Next, I stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the Sea Breeze Stamp Set onto black cardstock. I then die cut the sentiment out with the coordinating dies as well as unstamped black cardstock with the same sentiment die. I then adhered the two sentiment die cuts together with liquid glue. Next, I trimmed as sheet of patterned paper from the Hot Tropics Paper Pad down to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. I then positioned my leaves, flowers and sentiment over the panel.

When I had all the die cuts arranged I then press a sheet of press-n-seal over the panel to hold everything in place. Next, I flipped the panel over and trimmed over any of the over hang. With the over hang removed I then added foam adhesive to the backside and then adhered the die cut to my pattern paper panel. I then removed the press-n-seal and then adhered the sentiment. Lastly, I finished the card by adhering the panel to an A2 top-folding card base.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
