Hello friends!! It’s Channin here with a new card and video!! In today’s video I will be creating a slimline card featuring the Sugar Cookie Alphabet stamps and dies. This brilliantly designed set allows you to easily turn those cookie letters into candle letters, perfect for a birthday card!
VIDEO: Slimline Sugar Cookie Alphabet Card
To create this card I stamped and white heat embossed “celebrate” using the Sugar Cookie Alphabet stamp set onto nine scraps of different colored cardstock, using a different colored scrap for each letter. When I finished stamping the letters I then die cut them out with the matching dies. Next, I die cut several flames out of white cardstock. I then stamped the flames in Honey Bee’s new No Line Ink and then copic colored them in.

When I finished coloring the flames I then adhered them to the letters and then set my sentiment aside. Next, I stamped “friend” using the Bitty Buzzwords stamp set in Honey Bee’s new INTENSE Black Ink. I then die cut it out with the matching die.

Next, I created my slimline card base by trimming a 8 1/2” x 11” sheet of heavy weight cardstock down to 7” x 8 1/2” and then scoring at 3 1/2”. I then finished my card by adhering my candle letters and sub-sentiment to my card front with foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed my card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
