Good morning! Jess here with a quick video showing you how to create this vibrant and cheery card! You can watch the video below or over at our YouTube channel:
I started by blending a panel of Strathmore Bristol cardstock with spun sugar, picked raspberry, and abandoned coral distress oxide inks. Once the panel was dry I splattered it with water and shimmer spray and then die-cut it with the Fluttering Hearts Pierced Coverplate die. The hearts are subtle but provide a really pretty and interesting texture to the background.

Next I stamped the piggie from Bad Influence onto Arches cold pressed watercolor paper with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I watercolored it with Karin markers in the shades skin and red. Once I was done watercoloring I die-cut him with the coordinating die. Then I stamped the sentiments from Bad Influence and Kisses onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed them with white embossing powder. I also die-cut the Kisses scripty word from black and white cardstock and adhered them together. I added the pig and sentiment to the card with a mix of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape.

Finally I die-cut a scrap of blended cardstock with the Fluttering Hearts Coverplate die and adhered three to my scene. I added spectrum noir clear sparkle to each heart and then covered them (and the pig’s snout) with a thin layer of crystal glaze for a little sparkle and shine!
And that’s it! 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a fantastic weekend!
