Hello crafty friends!! It’s Channin here with a new card and video!! Today I will be creating a colorful birthday card featuring the Bicycle Builder Honey Cuts and the Riding By stamps and dies. Watch to see how I build my fun birthday scene and use scrap cardstock to add dimension and support to my die cuts.

VIDEO: Riding By Birthday Card

To create this card I first die cut all the parts for my bicycle using the Bicycle Builder die out of white and colored cardstocks. I then adhered my die cuts together and set my bike aside.

Next, I die cut scraps of colored cardstock with the Slimline Thin Frames die to create thin strips. I then adhered those strips onto a scrap of white cardstock with liquid adhesive to create rainbow. Next, I trimmed light blue cardstock down to a 4” x 5 1/2” panel and then adhered the rainbow to the panel. I then trimmed off the over hang and then adhered the panel to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base.

Next, I stamped several images and a sentiment from the Riding By stamp set in INTENSE Black Ink onto white cardstock. I then copic colored the images and then die cut them out with the matching dies. Next, I arranged my bike, my images, and sentiment over my card front and then picked the die cuts up with a piece of press’n seal. I then drew balloon strings with a marker.

Next, I added support to the backside of the bike and all my die cuts with scrap cardstock. I used the matching die for thin die cuts like the bike and sentiment so my supporting cardstock aligned perfectly. Once I had finished adding my supports I then added glue to the backside and adhered everything to my card front.

I hope you enjoyed my card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
