Good morning! Jessica Frost-Ballas here with another video for Honey Bee Stamps! Today I’m sharing some of my favorite tips and tricks for masking images to create an (almost) one layer card featuring lots of images from Oh My Whiskers and Pumpkin Patch!

You can watch the video below or over on our YouTube channel!
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHZ1dsLflsI&w=560&h=315]I stamped lots of images from Oh My Whiskers and Pumpkin Patch onto masking paper and fussy cut them into masks. Then I used my MISTI to stamp them in layers covering the stamped images with masks when I was finished.

After I finished stamping and masking all of my images I masked off the sky and blended cracked pistachio, evergreen bough, and pine needles distress oxide inks over the panel to create little grassy hills. Then I masked off the ground and blended chipped sapphire, blueprint sketch, salty ocean, and tumbled glass distress oxide inks to create my sky.
I colored all the images with copic markers. I used the following colors:
- Pumpkins and Leaves – Y15, Y17, Y19, Y21, Y35, YR09, YR04, YR18, YR23, YR31, YR68, R05, R35, E23, E25, E20
- Grass – YG45, YG61
- Cats – E70, E71, E74, E77, T2, T4, T6, R01, R20
I also used a copic multiliner to go over any black lines that were covered by the distress oxide inks. Then I stamped my sentiments from Fall onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed them with gold embossing powder. I also die-cut the word die with black cardstock and gold glitter cardstock and adhered them together. I added my sentiments and finished the card with a few white gel pen accents!

And that’s it! I hope you enjoyed my video and have a fabulous weekend!
