Hello friends!! It’s Channin here with a new card and video!! Today I will be creating a fun card with a little surprise! I will also demonstrate how I like to create mirror images.

VIDEO: Mirror Images and Cheeky Surprise Card

To create this card I trimmed a sheet of pattern paper from the Playful Pastels paper pad to A2 panel. I then die cut the panel and the front of the an A2 top-folding white card base with a square die. I then adhered the patterned paper to the card front. Next, I die cut 8 wood frame pieces out of Kraft cardstock with the Wood Frame Builder Honey Cuts. I then created a frame with four of the pieces, held them together with washi tape, and then adhered them to the card front. Next, I opened the card and then adhered the remaining four pieces directly behind the front frame pieces.

I then stamped several images from the Loads of Spring Stamp Set onto a Neenah Solar White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black. I then copic colored the images in and die cut them out with the matching dies. Next, I die cut a plain (unstamped) die cut of the pile of carrots. I then placed the mini water media mat into my MISTI, placed the cardstock negative I die cut the carrots from inside of the mat, and then centered the pile of carrots stamp inside the opening of the negative. Next, I stamped the carrots onto the mini water media in Memento Tuxedo Black, then placed the unstamped die cut inside and pressed all over it to transfer the image to the die cut. I then copic colored the mirrored pile of carrots.

Next, I stamp a sentiment from the Hoppy Easter Stamp Set on the inside of the card and then finished the card by adhering my die cuts to my card.

I hope you enjoyed today’s cards and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
