Good morning! Jess here with a bright and cheery card featuring some of my favorite Honey Bee products! I also have a video for this card that you can watch below or over at our YouTube channel!

I started by blending distress oxide inks onto strathmore bristol cardstock to create my sky and frames. I used spun sugar, picked raspberry, shaded lilac, tumbled glass, salty ocean, and blueprint sketch. I splattered the panels with water and then trimmed one down to 3.75″x8″ and die-cut the other with the Scallop Rectangle dies.

Next I stamped a bunch of images from Oh My Whiskers with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder. I colored them with copic markers and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I also die-cut the Large Clouds and blended tumbled glass and salty ocean distress oxide ink over the bottom of the clouds. Then I stamped the sentiment from Thanks a Bunch onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder before die-cutting it with the coordinating die.

Next I assembled my scene onto the slimline panel and carefully adhered the various elements. I used foam mounting tape to give my scalloped frames and my kitten a little extra dimension! I added a few accents with a white gel pen and then finished the card by adding lots of spectrum noir clear sparkle!

And that’s it! Admittedly, it’s a fairly involved card…but these days I seem to have quite a bit of time on my hands and it was a fun escape to methodically create this fun scene! 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
