Hello crafty friends!! It’s Channin here with a new card and video!! Today I will be creating a slimline floral card featuring the Bold Botanicals stamps and dies as well as the Bitty Buzzwords: Fall set. Watch to see how I add depth and interests to my flowers with gradient stamping.
VIDEO: Gradient Stamping with Bold Botanicals
To create this card I first stamped the florals and stems using the Bold Botanicals stamp set. I used combos of ink as well as partial inking and a sponge dauber to create gradations in the images. Once I finished stamping the images I then die cut them out with the matching dies.

Next I die cut two “grateful” word diecuts out of white cardstock using the Bitty Buzzword: Fall dies. I then adhered the two diecuts together. Next, I stamped and white heat-embossed a sub-sentiment using the Bitty Buzzword: Fall stamp set onto white cardstock. I then ink blended over the sub-sentiment with Antique Linen Distress Oxide. Next, I trimmed the sentiment down to a strip.

I then adhered my flowers to the front of a slimline card base (7” x 8 1/2”; scored at 3 1/2”) with foam adhesive. Next, I adhered the sub-sentiment over the “grateful” and then finished the card by adhering the sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed my card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
