Hello friends!! It’s Channin here with a new card and video!! In today’s video I will be creating a fun Father’s Day card featuring the Apron A2 Card and Apron: BBQ Add-on dies! Watch to see how I add realistic touches to the apron and accessories that are sure to impress!

VIDEO: Father’s Day BBQ Apron Card

To create this card I first die cut several apron components using the Apron A2 Card Honey Cuts out of blue cardstock and 110 lb white cardstock. I then ink swiped the blue die cuts with Faded Jeans Distress and then assembled an apron shaped card.

Next, I trimmed down a sheet of pattern paper from the Funfetti Birthday Paper Pad to make an A2 panel and then adhered it over a 110 lb white cardstock A2 panel. I then adhered my apron card onto the panel.

Next, I die cut several BBQ tools out of black cardstock using the Apron: BBQ Add-on Honey Cuts. I then silver heat embossed the tools. Next, I die cut several additional accessories out of scraps of colored and patterned cardstock. I then ink blended the color cardstock die cuts with tone-on-tone Distress Inks to make them look more dimensional.

Next, I adhered the accessories and tools to the apron. I then stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from the Kiss the Cook Stamp Set onto black cardstock. I then die cut it out with the matching die and adhered it to the card front. Lastly I finished the card by stamping a second sentiment to the inside of the card.

I hope you enjoyed my card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
