Hello friends!! It’s Channin here with a new card and video!! Today I will share how I created this fun and festive Christmas card. I used several images from the Woodland Winter Animals and Santa Village’s Stamp Sets and then combined them up a bold buffalo plaid background!

VIDEO: Buffalo Plaid Christmas Scene

To create this card I first stamped an A2 panel of red cardstock with the Buffalo Plaid Stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Next, I stamped images from the Woodland Winter Animals and Santa Village’s Stamp Sets also in Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored them with copic markers. When I finished coloring all the images I then die cut them out with the matching dies.

Next, I die cut a 1 1/4” x 5 1/2” strip of white cardstock with a scenery die from the Santa’s Village Honey Cuts Set to create a snow slope. I then ink blended the bottom of the slope with Tumbled Glass  Distress Ink. Next, I die cut three sections of a pine tree with dies from the Toy Store House Builder Add-On Honey Cuts set. I then ink blended over the sections with Pine Needles Distress Ink and then adhered them together with liquid glue.

I then stamped my sentiment using the Merry Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Kraft cardstock, then die cut the “merry” out with the matching die and trimmed the sub-sentiments down to strips. Next, I adhered the buffalo plaid panel onto an A2 Kraft card base. I then finished the card by adhering the snow slope to the card front and then adhered all the images and sentiment with foam adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
