Hello friends!! It’s Channin here with a new card and video!! Today I will be creating a colorful birthday card featuring the Balloon Alphabet Dies and the gorgeous Birthday Bash Paper Pad!

VIDEO: Balloon Alphabet Birthday Card

To create this card I first, trimmed a sheet of pattern paper from the Birthday Bash paper pad down to create an A2 panel. 

Next, I die cut the letters for my sentiment out of white cardstock using the Balloon Alphabet dies. I then ink blended over all the letters with several Distress Inks to add color and to create the look of roundness. Next, I die cut the letters once more and then adhered the ink blended letters over the second set to add dimension. 

I then stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the Birthday stamp set onto black cardstock. Next, I trimmed the sentiment down to a strip and then adhered another strip of cardstock behind it for dimension. Lastly, I finished the card by adhering the pattern paper to the front of an A2 top-folding card base and then the letters and sentiment on top of that.
