Hello friends!! It’s Channin here with a new card and video!! Today I will be creating a watercolored floral card with the Spring Blooms Background Stamp!
VIDEO: Background Stamp as Focal Point
To create this card I first stamped a 3 1/8” x 4 3/8” panel of watercolor paper with the Spring Blooms Background Stamp in Versamark ink and then heat embossed it in black. Next, I watercolored the image with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

When I finished coloring the image I then created the sentiment with the Spring Joy Bouquet. I first stamped the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto black cardstock, heat embossed it in white, and then die cut out with the matching die. I then used the same die to die cut the black cardstock once more and then adhered the stamped sentiment on top to add dimension.

Next, I trimmed scrap cardstock down to create two 3 1/8” x 4 3/8” panels, adhered them together, then adhered the watercolored panel on top. I then adhered the panel onto the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. Lastly, I finished the card by adhering the sentiment to the card front.
