Hello and happy Tuesday, crafty friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!!

Valentine’s Day is just a little over two weeks away!! Do you have your cards made yet? I have a simple design that is quick to mass produce (thanks to the Heartfelt Pocket Honey Cuts), but look like you spent a lot of time making them!! They are also the perfect size to hold a gift card or for classroom card exchanges…BONUS!!!

This is what they look like from the front…

Then the little note card insert slides out to write or stamp your own message…

Let’s get to the details on how to put these together!!

First, I began by die-cutting all of the components for the pockets and inserts from white, colored and silver glitter cardstock using the Heartfelt Pocket Dies. I ran the pocket portion of the die-cuts through my die-cut machine with the Fluttering Hearts Pierced Coverplate. I sprayed the Fluttering Hearts Stencil with Pixie Spray, lined it up over the pierced hearts and blended on Picked Raspberry, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks. After the ink was dry, I creased, folded and adhered the pockets together.

The greetings, from the Brie Mine stamp set, were white heat embossed onto coordinating cardstock, and cut with the Coordinating Die. The smaller words were trimmed down with a trimmer, then adhered with the die-cut onto the front of the pockets.

The heart die-cuts were layered and adhered to the top of the inserts. Finally, I traced around the piercing on the hearts with a silver sparkle pen. This added just enough silver to the pockets to tie them in to the inserts!

I absolutely love these little love notes!! How cute would they be in rainbow colors?

I really appreciate you stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!!

Brenda
