Hello Crafters!
I hope you all are having a good week. It’s been a little crazy with the holiday season for me. When things get a little overwhelming sometimes I have a hard time being creative. Fortunately, going back to what I love helps me get back on track. Enter the scene card.
I love mixing up my old and new stamp sets to change up their look. I also love one layer scene cards and coloring, coffee and cakes. Basically this card hit almost all my design loves in one sitting!
The Tea Time set is a tried and true favorite for me but I also wanted to make a holiday card. I was able to combine the images from Tea Time with the holiday images included in the Gingerbread House Add-On set to create a smorgasbord of holiday treats in a one layer scene. By framing in my sentiment it got to become part of the scene too!
I did tons of stamping, masking, and copic coloring for this one. It did take a little bit of time but it’s because I opted for a one layer design. Using the corresponding dies for these two sets would make it much quicker.
You can see the entire process in the video below. Like I said it’s a longer one but it’s all there so feel free to hop around if you don’t have the time to watch in it’s entirety.
I hope you enjoyed the process and learned a tip or trick here that you can incorporate into your own cardmaking!

These images work beautifully together on this scene, my fave are the gumdrops.
