Hello everyone! Leanne here today. One of my favorite new products from the Hello Summer Release is the Tropical Bouquets Honey Cuts. I have been having so much fun die cutting all the pretty foliage and flower shapes in this set. I’ve made several cards over the last few weeks using this fun die set. In case you’ve missed them, check out this post here.

I started by doing a little messing watercoloring to create some colorful panels to die cut the flowers and foliage shapes from. I used Distress Oxide Inks for the watercoloring. I used a combination of Pine Needles and Twisted Citron for the green. For the red Hibiscus, I used Picked Raspberry and Ripe Persimmon.

I prepared an A2 size card base to build my flower arrangement on. I covered the front with some patterned paper. The interesting weave print comes from the new Hot Tropics 6×6 Paper Pad. I added a Thin Oval Frame which I custom colored with Picked Raspberry and Ripe Persimmon ink so it would coordinate perfectly with the flowers.

I adhered all the die cut pieces with dimensional foam squares to create a layered arrangement. I added the stamped and die cut word Mahalo, which is commonly used in Hawaii to express gratitude. This stamp comes from Wish You Were Here. Lastly I added a few sequins for embellishment.
