Hello, Honey Bee friends! Bobbi Lemanski here with a spooky cute Halloween card. October is right around the corner and that means it’s time for HALLOWEEN! I’m using a new set and matching stencil by Honey Bee Stamps that includes lots of cute, characters, dressed and ready for October 31. I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Trick or Treat stamp set and coordinating die set

Trick or Treat Stencil – set of 2

Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun stamp set and coordinating die set

To create this 5″ X 7″ card, I started by cutting a 5″ wide X 3-1/2″ tall piece of 80lb Solar White cardstock. I ink blended three colors of Distress Oxide Ink – Prize Ribbon (this is a newer blue color), Wilted Violet and Black Soot. Once the colors were blended, I splattered water over the blended ink and blotted it dry to make it splotchy. Next, I stenciled white trees using the Trick or Treat Stencil, Hero Hues Unicorn White Ink and my Detailed Blender Brushes. A few extra white dots using a Gelly Roll white pen completes this colorful and spooky night scene background.

I stamped, colored and die cut the characters and tree. Three bats were heat embossed in white on black cardstock and die cut. I wanted them to be black, but still show the detailing of the stamp so I chose heat embossing for them. I adhered the tree, squirrel and pig images to the background using Bee Creative Precision Tip Glue. I attached the bear and cat using dimensional foam tabs. The entire scene was attached to an A7-sized card base made from white cardstock. To finish the front, I stamped the phrases from the Trick or Treat set right below the scene, added a spider web, and some whimsical black dots using a marker.

For the inside, I stenciled lighter trees using Black Soot and Wilted Violet across the bottom. I had one character left over from the front so I attached the puppy dog in front of the trees. I stamped the phrase from the Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun stamp set and added a spider web, two bats and some more dots to match the front. The phrase, “Treat Yourself” was stamped below the larger phrase to complete the card.
