Good morning everyone!! Thanks for stopping by today!! Brenda with you today and I have another card to share using Mae the Mouse!! Hey, I warned you last week!! I had this phrase in my head from the very first time that I saw this set…and you know that I love a punny sentiment!!!

Let’s get to it!! I began creating my “cheese” by ink-blending Mustard Seed and Wild Honey Distress Inks onto Bristol paper. I used a Copic Multi-Liner and the Polka Dot Background Stencils to draw circles onto the panel and then colored them with Copics. I die-cut “GOUDA” using the Bee Bold Alphabet Honey Cuts from the “cheese” background and black cardstock. Mae the Mouse and the cheese wedge were stamped onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored with Copic markers. I used the Coordinating Honey Cuts to cut them out. Next, I cut a panel of Bristol paper using the largest of the Scallop A2 Honey Cuts. Dusty Concord, Wilted Violet and Milled Lavendar Distress Oxide Inks were blended in an ombre pattern onto the panel. The beginning of the sentiment, from the Friendship stamp set, was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. “Friend” was die-cut from black cardstock and vellum using the Friendship Honey Cuts. All of the die-cuts were adhered with foam adhesive as shown. Finally, I colored some Be Mine Candy Hearts with a yellow Copic marker to match.

I think this turned out even better than I had pictured it in my head!! Gotta love it when that happens!!
