Hi Everyone! Leanne here and I’m sharing a sweet Valentine’s card today. I wanted to create the iconic heart shaped box of chocolates for my card using the some of the new stamps and dies from the Brie Mine release.

I started by inking up an A2 sized background panel with a combination of Tattered Rose and Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink. I die cut the bottom edge of the panel with the Background Builder Scallop Honey Cuts. To make the box, I used the Scallop Hearts and Stacking Hearts Honey Cuts.  I nested a Stacking Heart inside the Scallop heart and die cut from red glitter card stock. I then die cut just the Stacking Heart from white card stock for the bottom of the box.

The little chocolates and dipped strawberries come from Mae the Mouse.  I colored with Copics and added some details with a white gel pen.  I silver heat embossed the sentiment which is from Brie Mine.  I used the Brie Mine Honey Cuts to die cut the script “sweet” and “valentine”.  For a little embellishment I added a few dots of Silver Moondust Nuvo Glitter Drops.
