Hello, Honey Bee friends!! I hope you’re having a wonderful week!!

Sympathy cards aren’t my favorite to create, but I like to have a few in my stash for when the need arises. The On The Line: Succulents Stamp Set was perfect for my card today!!

I started by stamping the images from the On The Line: Succulents Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added details with colored pencils, then cut them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts. I love that you have the option of die-cutting one or both edges of these stunning succulents!!

For the background, I die-cut the Garden Lattice Base & Garden Lattice Top Cover Plate Honey Cuts from white cardstock and layered them over a panel of light aqua cardstock, then adhered them to a white, top-folding card base with Bee Creative Glue. The succulent die-cuts were also adhered with Bee Creative Glue toward the top and bottom of the card.

The greeting was foiled onto glimmer cardstock with Skybright Glimmer Foil using a sentiment from the Foil Script : Wishes Hot Foil Plates and Dies Set. ( I only wish that foil was easier to photograph!!) I also used the die to cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the foiled one for dimension, then adhered them to the front of the card and I was finished!!

Now I have a new favorite sentiment set!! The foil adds so much to a card, don’t you think?!?

Thank you so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! I sure appreciate it!!

Brenda
