Hello friends, Happy new week! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio today and I am sharing these adorable gift tags with you all. They are all made with various die cuts and are very unique. I shared the winter version of these shaped tags last month, and I am making a fresh batch of spring ones today! As I told you before, I use these tags for birthday gifts and also for the items I ship out to my customers (I make stained glass pieces during the week and cards in the weekends!).

Since they are super easy and simple to make (you just need to die cut and glue!), I will share the products I used for each design along with some tips. Here are the product list:

<Tiny sentiment for all tags>
Lovely Layers: Doves (die)
Mini Messages: Sweets (stamp)
<Dove>
Lovely Layers: Doves (die)
<Bunny>
Bunny Basket (die)
<Succulent>
Succulent Garden Builder (die)
<Anemone>
Lovely Layers: Anemone (die)
<Potion Bottle>
Perfect Potions Shaker (die): Bottle
Lovely Layers: Fall Treats (die): heart shaped candies
<Watering can>
Apron Garden Tools Add-On (die)
Lovely Layers: Seasonal Frames (die): flower

To enhance the embossed details left by die cutting, I used gray marker to trace the lines. Another way to add texture to the simple die cuts is to use specialty card stocks. I used silver foil card stock for the watering can and the gardening scoop and velum for the Anemone petals (I die cut another base layer from white card stock and glued the velum pieces on top to make the tag sturdy). When you are using a thinner card stocks such as pattern papers or velum, it’s a good idea to layer an extra piece on the back.

When I choose the dies I generally look for the shapes with some sort of loop so I can add twine but you can usually improvise if the shape you want to use has no loop. I simply punched a small hole on the base layer of the Anemone, tied a piece of twine around the neck of the potion bottle, and for the dove, I die cut the top of the succulent hunger and sandwiched it in between two layers of dove die cuts.

For the tiny tag, I stamped the word ‘Enjoy’ with black ink. To finish off the tags, I added Glossy Accents to each tags and tied a piece of ribbon around the neck of the portion bottle.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!
