Hi friends! Happy new week! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and I have yet another die cut heavy card to share with you all. Only stamping I did were the sentiment and the bunny. I made a similar card last fall with pumpkins and ghosts and I can’t wait to make a summer version too!

I went through my Honey Bee collection and picked out a bunch of products including some brand new items. I encourage you to look through your collection to see what works together. Here are what I used:

Grapevine Wreath (die)
Farm Fresh Market Cart Add-On (die): Flowers, banners, pitcher
Fireplace Scene Builder (die)
Itty Bitty Eggs (die)
Bird House A2 Card Base (die): Eggs and nest, feathers
Easter Basket Builder (stamp & die): Large eggs and chocolate bunny
Squeeze The Day (stamp & die): sentiment

I started off with making a A7 (5″ x 7″) card base with white card stock and adhered a gray A7 card stock panel cut with A7 Double Stitched Frames die (I did this to add the stitching detail). On top, I layered a white scallop panel cut with Scallop A7 die (second largest in the set). To mimic a wall paper, I layered a pattern paper (from brand new Modern Spring paper pad) panel cut to size.

The fireplace was cut from a pattern paper from the same Modern Spring pad and all the other elements are all cut from white card stock. You can use colored card stock and avoid coloring process, but I did not have the color I wanted to use so decided to ink/color them to match my color scheme. I used Distress Inks and Copic markers to add color to the die cuts. The chocolate bunny was stamped and heat embossed with brown embossing powder and the large eggs are white heat embossed and then inked.

The sentiment was white heat embossed on the gray card stock (same as the card panel) and die cut using the coordinating die. To make it pop a little bit, I added two additional layers on the back. To assemble the scene, I used foam tapes to some of the elements to add dimension. TIP: For the wreath, overlapping the elements on top of each other will make it look more natural.

To finish off the card, I added some clear glitter to the flowers, eggs, and the feathers for additional texture and added some pearls from the new True Pearls pack.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!!
