I’m beyond thrilled and Honored to be a Guest Designer for Honey Bee Stamps this month. I have always been a big fan and I just love love love their products and style! So lets begin…..

I used the Brilliant day stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts Dies for this card. I started off stamping the image onto Bristol. I wanted to extended the crayons to take up a large part of the card front. To do this I used a Pigma Micron Pen .08 and a ruler to extended the crayons. You can see where I extended it, but hopefully it wont be too noticeable!

Afterwards I used Tombow Markers to watercolor the crayons and then die cut them out. I also added black splatter and Perfect Pearls splatter for my white panel. I mounted the white panel (4″x5.25) onto a black panel (mat) which measures a wee bit smaller than an A2 card. Just so a bit of black peeks out.

I added foam to my crayon piece. After it was all attached and glued down I added some sparkle to the crayons “wrappers” and Glossy Accents to the crayon tips and stripe on wrapper. I stamped the sentiment, fussy cut it and added foam tape to pop it up. For the final touches, I added a few Moonlight Rhinestones and that’s it!

I hope you liked my project. Please stop by my Instagram (@kellythesunshinecrafter) and Blog to see the other projects I created this month using Honey Bee Stamps’ products! Thank you again to Lisa & Melissa for having me and Thank you to Melissa/Honey Bee Stamps for amazing fun products! Stay crafty my friends, Kelly
