Hello, friends!! Brenda here with you today!! I hope your week is off to a great start!!

I have a floral card to share with you today featuring the Bold Botanicals and Praying Big Time stamp sets!! I love the font of the large sentiments in the Praying Big Time set and there are so many encouraging and beautiful sub-sentiments and verses that are perfect to express your sympathy or just let someone know that they are in your thoughts and prayers.

I began by stamping all of the flowers and stems from the Bold Botanicals Stamp Set onto white cardstock using the following Distress Oxide Inks: Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, Seedless Preserves and Dusty Concord. I created a little shading to the stamped images by applying the darker color of ink to the stamp with a sponge dauber. The Bold Botanicals Honey Cuts were used to cut them all out.

Next, I started with a panel of blue cardstock and blended Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks onto the edges with blending brushes. I used the second largest die in the Sweet Stack: Rectangles Set to die-cut the panel. Using the Praying Big Time Stamp Set, I white heat embossed “prayers” onto vellum and “sending you” directly onto the ink-blended panel. The Praying Big Time Honey Cuts were used to die-cut the vellum sentiment. I arranged the flowers toward the bottom of the panel and trimmed the excess from the edge. The “prayers” vellum die-cut was adhered by adding Bee Creative Glue behind the embossed letters. Lastly, I added some splatters with diluted white gouache and a paint brush.

I really love the colors and I hope it lets the recipient know that they are in my prayers!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week!!

Brenda
