Hello, crafty friends and happy August!! I hope your week started off well!! We finally cooled off a bit in the Midwest after some pretty warm days (but it’s gonna heat up again later this week), so that got me in the mood for Fall!!

I started by die-cutting the sunflower and leaves from white cardstock using the Lovely Layers: Sunflowers Honey Cuts. I colored them with Copic markers, added some dots with a yellow gel pen, then set them aside to work on the background.

The Autumn Splendor A2 Cover Plate Die was cut from white cardstock and adhered to a dusty blue polka dot patterned paper from the Pinstripes & Polka Dots: Spring Paper Pad with Bee Creative Glue. The sunflower and leaf die-cuts were adhered with Bee Creative Glue. I wrapped jute around the panel and tied it into a bow before adhering it to an A2 white card base. I melted blue wax melts from the Adventure Awaits Wax Melts in the wax melting spoon over the wax melting furnace and stamped it with the Maple Leaf Wax Stamper, then adhered it over the bow using wax seal stickers.

The sentiment was created with the Bitty Buzzwords: Seasons Stamp Set and Coordinating Honey Cuts. “Fall” was cut from white and pale orange cardstock. The rest of the sentiment was stamped onto pale orange cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and white heat embossed. I used the Sentiment Banners Dies to cut them out and trimmed off the ends. The entire sentiment was popped up with foam tape. I added a little shine with blue gems from the Modern Spring Gem Stickers Pack to finish.

That’s it for me today!! Thanks for hanging out with me!! Have a great week!!

Brenda
