I made 2 cards and a video to share with you all today showcasing the new Home Essentials patterned paper pack. These papers were designed to go with Honey Bee’s House Builder Honey Cuts dies and are different from Honey Bee’s other patterned paper packs in that they have a satin finish and more realistic look to them.
I die cut the Home Essentials patterned papers as well as various card stock with the House Builder Honey Cuts dies and assembled just the “front” of each house. There is a hinge wafer die in the set that enables you to make a house-shaped card from it but I had other plans.
I created 2 easel cards from A2 card bases and adhered each house to the base and added more of the Home Essentials patterned papers to the “inside” of the card which finish off the scene when the cards are propped open.

Love these cards Amy! It’s great to see so much texture and colour made using patterned paper as opposed to having to stencil and ink blend.
