Hello friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a scene at the sea. I’ve turned these cute summer cabins into beach houses using vibrant paint colors, white trim, and a sea and sand landscape around them. I’m using the following products from Honey Bee Stamps:

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.
For this 5″ X 7″ card, I created a seaside background for these sweet beach houses. I used my Honey Blender Brushes and the following Distress Oxide Inks from the top of the card to the bottom: Weathered Wood, Tumbled Glass, Old Paper, Brushed Corduroy and Gathered Twigs. I splattered water on the inks and blotted them dry with a paper towel before they dried to make them splotchy. You can watch my reel here to see how I made the background. Once the ink was dry, I used Copics in YG95, YG93, and YG91 to make the tall grasses. Now the scene is ready for the beach houses.
When I think of quaint, happy, beach houses, I think of bright colors with white trim so I made all three houses to fit this look. Each one has all the cute details that come in the Summer Cabins Honey Cut dies including white picket fences. I attach all three using foam dots and then added some dimensional sea grass in the corners of the foreground using the Lovely Layers: Seashore Honey Cuts dies and kraft-colored cardstock. I used a fine-tip black marker to hand draw in three birds in the air.
The sentiments were stamped in black ink and cut using the coordinating dies. The “Rest and Relax, you The deserve it” sentiment is from the Be Still stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies and the “Happy Retirement, Adventure Awaits” is from the FREE Bee you receive when you place a $100 or more qualifying order at Honey Bee Stamps (while supplies last.)
