Hello friends! Happy new week! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and today, I have this rustic fall card with pretty woodgrain frames to share with you. This is pretty simple card to put together especially if you cut down on the numbers of die cuts you use so great for mass production.

For the background, I chose two wood grain pattern paper from the new Grain and Grunge paper pad. I die cut the frame from the one with white paint wash using Layering Vintage labels die, and the slightly smaller panel from the darker wood pattern with the die from the same die set. I pop up the frame on the card base I made from white card stock with a layer of foam tapes and inlayed the four corner pieces. On the die cut panel, I heat embossed the beautiful sentiment from Fall For You set using cream colored embossing powder. To make the details of the panel stand out, I traced the embossed dots with white gel pen. I then adhered the panel on to the card base with some foam tapes. TIP: Avoid the edge of the panel when you do this so you can easily tuck the die cut elements later.

To embellish, I went through my dies and picked out the ones I want to use. Here are the ones I used:
Lovely Layers: Mum (flower)*New
Pumpkin Spice Market Cart Add-On (pumpkins)*New
Fall Bouquets (Leaves and acorns)
Build a Snowman (mug and bird)
I die cut them from various colors of card stocks and added some details with my Copic markers. To give the pumpkins, mug, and acorns some shine, I coated them with Glossy Accents. Some of the elements are adhered on the panel and some are tucked under making the whole scene bit more dimensional.

To finish off the card, I tied some ribbon I found in my stash and added a clay heart on the mug.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!!
