Hello Bee Friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here, riding by in holiday “mini” style. What does that mean? Well, it means I’m using the following new Vintage Holiday Honey Bee Stamps sets together to make a holiday gift card holder and an A7 holiday card:

For my projects below, I used Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock and Bee Creative Black Intense Ink for my white cardstock and black ink stamping.

Mini Slimline Gift Card Holder
I always need gift card holders for the holidays and here’s my answer… mini slimlines! They fit a standard gift card perfectly, not too big, just the right size. 🙂 My first project is a 3″ X 6″ card with a coordinating mini slimline envelope. A coordinating envelope is a must when your gift is the neatly tucked inside! Honey Bee offers the perfect die set to make these adorable mini slimline envies. They fit this card size perfectly.
To make the card, I cut a 6″ square out of Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock, scored in half and applied a 2-3/4″ wide X 5-3/4″ tall Vintage Holiday 6″ X 6″ pattern paper to the front panel. Using a black felt-tip marker, I added faux stitching around the edge. Next, I stamped the dog, basket, string of lights and present on white cardstock and colored the elements using Copic Markers. (I list all the colors under the card section below.) Everything was adhered in place on the card front using Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue. Inside the card, I plan to write a personal note and attach a gift card using glue dots.
For the adorable, matching envelope, I die cut the Mini Slimline Envelope die pieces and attached them using Scor-Tape. I added pattern paper to the front and cut a belly band and attached it to the outside. I added white faux stitching around the pattern paper perimeter for an extra touch. I stamped, colored, and die cut the “Merry Christmas” phrase and present and attached them to the front. I love how the phrase is curved for this look!
Mini Slimline Envelope die set offers two options for the corner design. I’m using the ticket stub corner edge. Notice that I also die cut a flap from pattern paper and attached to the open end to complete the envelope. It’s just as cute inside as on the outside! This card/envie set will be used for one of my Secret Santa gifts this year!
Riding By Holiday 5″ X 7″ Card
I made this card quickly by placing nine images from the Riding By… Holiday Style stamp set on my MISTI tool and stamping them all at once. I also stamped the phrase, “from all of us” below the bottom gift in the lower righthand corner. Each image was colored in using R89, R29, R17, R14, R22, YR31, YR30, YG67, YG63, YG61, E47, and E44. These colors were also used in the slimline card above, too.
I die cut the “Christmas” word using the Christmas die set and stamped “blessings” below it to complete the card front. Lastly, I added a phrase inside using the Inside Sentiments: Holiday stamp set.
