Happy Wednesday Honey Bee friends! It’s red, white and blue week here at Honey Bee Stamps! I have a card featuring the adorable Market Cart Honey Cuts colored up to fit this theme! I love this Market Cart set and can see using it throughout the year for all the seasons!

I began my card by die cutting all of the pieces in the Market Cart Honey Cuts from 80# Neenah Solar White card stock. Then I used the Market Cart Stencil to color the awnings and the greenery for the flower pots. The stencil made it very easy to color the red and blue stripes using Background Blender brushes with Blueprint Sketch and Festive Berries Distress Oxide inks! I used Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxides for the flower pots greenery. Next I used some Copic markers to color the flowers, the flower pot holder, the wheel, and to add shading on the cart.

Next I assembled the pieces of the cart, using Bee Creative glue to adhere them. Tip: On the top awning, just add glue along the top edge–then you can fold along the score lines created when it was die cut for extra dimension! Then I added some crystal gem stickers for some fun sparkle! I had to look through the sets I have to find some red and blue gems (time to order more!) The red ones are from the Harvest Festival Gem Stickers, and the blue are from the Log Cabin Gem Stickers. The white are from….the White Gem Stickers! I added foam tape to the back of the cart and set it aside to create my card base.

For the card base, I used a piece of patterned paper from the Spring Lullaby paper pad, trimmed it to 4″ x 5-¼”. I, very lightly, inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress Oxide ink and adhered it to an A2 top-folding card base. I had a small scrap of green patterned paper from the Over The Rainbow paper pad and die cut it with the Grass Border Honey Cut. I trimmed the grass to 4″ and adhered it at the bottom. Next I adhered the Market Cart to the card. I stamped the sentiment from the My Favorite Flower stamp set in Bee Creative Intense Black ink and die cut it with the coordinating Honey Cut. I added some pieces of thin foam strips to the back and adhered it to the cart.

I had so much fun creating this red, white and blue Market Cart! Thank you so very much for stopping by! If you are in the United States, I hope you have a safe and fun filled 4th of July!
