Happy new week friends! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and I have a fun project to share with you all! It’s a seashell wreath and it’s in rainbow colors!! It is pretty easy to make and doesn’t have to be seashells. It could be fruits, florals, butterflies, or whatever you choose!

To make a base for the wreath, I cut out two donut shapes approximately 6.5″ in diameter and 1″ wide from a piece of cardboard I found in my recycle bin. I adhered two together to make it sturdy.

The images I used were from the new Seashell stamp set and I stamped all the images on watercolor card stock and heat embossed them using white embossing powder. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them all out. To have enough seashells for the wreath, I repeated the process so I have two sets of all the seashells. I then watercolored them with various colors of Distress Inks. TIP: For the smooth transitions of the rainbow colors, use two to three colors that are next to each other on the rainbow spectrum on one image (For example, blue and purple, purple and pink). I then decided to adhere cardboard layer to all the seashells so they were sturdier and have nice dimensions.

I then arrange all the images on the donut shaped base and adhered them with Precision Tip Glue. I also die cut white glitter card stock with tiny leaf branch dies from Whimsical Spring Flowers set and added them to the wreath.

To finish off the project, I added some Crystal Clear Gem Stickers to some of the seashells. I am planning to hang this on the bathroom door, so added some twine for a hanger.

Thank you so much for joining me today. Have a wonderful week!!
