Good morning, Honey Bee friends!! One of my favorite things to do when creating a card is to combine new products with previously released ones!! I have a card to share today that does just that!!

This is what you see when you pull it out of the envelope…

The color combo was inspired by a sheet of cardstock from the Spring Fling Paper Pad. I love the colors of this heart patterned paper!! I trimmed it slightly and adhered it to a 6″ x 6″ piece of coral cardstock. I die-cut the pocket from a denim patterned paper in the Sweet on You Paper Pad with the largest of the Stacking Pockets Honey Cuts and white heat embossed the stitching using the Pocket Full of Love stamp set. “Pocket full of”, the heart and little tag, also from Pocket Full of Love, were also white heat embossed and cut out with the Coordinating Dies. I adhered the pocket to the background, making sure to add adhesive only along the sides and bottom of the pocket.

For the insert, I cut the largest of the Double Stitched Frames Honey Cuts from Bristol paper. I used a blender brush to blend Broken China Distress Oxide Ink onto the panel with the cloud stencil from Outdoor Scene Builder. The Large Cloud Dies were used to cut the clouds from white cardstock and ‘sunshine” from the Pocket Full of Love set was added with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. I found scrap cardstock to match the colors in the patterned paper and cut the rainbow and sun with the Rainbow Wishes Honey Cuts. “Pull’ and an arrow from the One of a Kind stamp set was stamped at the top with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink, so the recipient would know that the card is interactive. There is still plenty of space in the bottom cloud to write a short message.

I hope that I’ve inspired you to mix some of your older products in with your new ones today!!

Thanks for hanging out with me!! I’ll see you next Tuesday!!

Brenda
