Hey, Honey Bee friends!! Happy November!! I hope you are all doing well!!

I got a little carried away when I was creating my card for the IG Hop yesterday!! (If you haven’t hopped along yet, be sure to head over there for tons of inspiration with the Make It Merry Release!!) I had so much fun die-cutting the poinsettia and all of the greenery in the Lovely Layers: Poinsettia and Lovely Layers: Winter Greenery Honey Cuts that I ended up with lots of extra die-cuts that I HAD to put to use!!!! Although this card uses most of the same components, it was so easy to change the composition and overall look.

I began this card just like yesterday’s, by die-cutting the Lovely Layers: Poinsettia and Lovely Layers: Winter Greenery from red, brown and green cardstock. I added some details and shading with Copic markers, then adhered all of the layered die-cuts together with Bee Creative Glue. Next, I brushed on some Grit Paste with a stiff brush and while it was still wet, sprinkled on Rock Candy Glitter for lots of sparkle.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of white cardstock with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set, then sandwiched it in the Kaleidoscope 3D Embossing Folder and ran it through my die-cut machine. I LOVE this embossing folder!! I hope there are more of these in the future for Honey Bee!! I adhered it to an A2 panel of patterned paper from the Make It Merry Paper Pad with liquid glue, then a white card base. The die-cuts were arranged and adhered in the top, left corner with Bee Creative Glue.

I used the Foil Script: Holidays Hot Foil Plates and Honey Cuts Set for the sentiment. It was foiled onto Glimmer Specialty Cardstock with matte gold foil using the Glimmer Hot Foil System, then die-cut. I adhered in the bottom, right corner with foam adhesive. I added some Gold Glimmer Enamel Stickers to the centers of the poinsettia for a little more sparkle and shine!!

Isn’t that texture and design of the embossing folder amazing?!? The Lovely Layers: Poinsettia and Lovely Layers: Winter Greenery sets are a match made in heaven!! These will be a constant on my desk for the holidays and don’t be surprised if you see more cards created with these sets from me!!
