Hi friends! Happy new week! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and I have this pretty patchwork pumpkin card for you today. Apart from the sentiment, it’s all die cut card. For the color scheme, I went for cream, black and gold with touch of green and orange rather than the traditional fall colors.

Here are the stamps & dies I used:
Pumpkin: Patchwork Pumpkin (stamp & die)
Sentiments: Patchwork Pumpkin (main sentiment), Inside: Thankful Sentiments (‘You are the best’)
Flowers: Country Christmas Wreath (die)
Leaves: Fall Bouquets (die)
Bow: Grapevine Wreath (die)
Frame: Scallop A2 Card Frames (die)

For the main part of the pumpkin, I used cream card stock (the middle size piece) and black card stock (the largest and the smallest parts). I die cut the pieces out and then stamped the patterns on the black pieces with clear embossing ink and gold heat embossed. There are so many fun patterns to choose from! I die cut all the pieces from colored card stocks including some orange glitter paper for the leaves.

The card base is A2 sized black card stock and I layered a scallop panel die cut from cream card stock. I then stamped the two sentiments on top of each other and applied clear heat embossing on the main sentiment. You don’t need to do this step, but I love the subtle dimension and shine the clear embossing powder adds.

Then all you need to do is to arrange all the die cuts the way you would like and adhered them! I used foam tapes to pop up some of them (each layer of the pumpkin for example). To finish off the card, I added Glossy Accents to the flower centers and the bow, and sprinkled some clear glitter on the flower centers. I also added some gold sequins and the card is complete!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful week!!

Thank you so much Kim! I used the stamp set for the patterns on the pumpkin, but you are right, pattern papers would work great too!
