Hey, Honey Bee friends!! I hope you’re having a great week!!

I have a couple of cards to share with you today!! They could be used as thank you cards, but they would also be perfect just to let someone know that you’re thinking of them!! We all like to know when someone is thinking of us, am I right?

I began with my backgrounds this time! I ink-smooshed Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks onto panels of Bristol cardstock using leftover packaging from a stamp set, then set them aside to dry. Once they were dry, I die-cut them with the Spring Leaves A2 Pierced Cover Plate Die, then the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. They were adhered to A2 white top-folding card bases with Bee Creative Glue.

Next, I die-cut the beautiful foliage in the Lovely Layers: Greenery Honey Cuts twice from frosted silver cardstock and four times from heavyweight white cardstock. The embossed details on this silver cardstock is amazing!! I adhered two white die-cuts behind each silver one with Bee Creative Glue, then adhered them coming from the top of the card, trimming away the excess.

For the greetings, I die-cut the top layers of the Smile Buzzword and Kind Buzzword Honey Cuts once from frosted silver cardstock and twice from heavyweight white cardstock. The bottom layers were cut two times from heavyweight white cardstock. All of the layers were adhered together with Bee Creative Glue, then adhered to the front of the card.

The sentiments, from the Smile Buzzword and Kind Buzzword Stamp Sets, were stamped with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and silver heat embossed onto white cardstock and cut into narrow strips. They were popped up above the die-cut words with strips of foam tape. I added a few few Cool Pearls Pearl Stickers to each card and I was finished!!

I really love the shine and details on the silver cardstock!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!

Brenda
