Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today to share some sparkly rainbow goodness! I wanted to create a pretty sky scene; I love the way that the sky fades from gray to purple to pretty blue, and I wanted to pair it with some sparkly clouds. Let’s get started with all of the details!

I began by die cutting the Rainbow Wishes rainbow die from plain white card stock. I used my Copic markers to color the rainbow in a pastel ROY G BIV color scheme. I then used blending brushes to blend some gray, lavender, and pale blue inks on a panel of A2 card stock to create a stormy sky background.

Next, I die cut some clouds from the Rainbow Wishes die set using Sugar Crystal glitter card stock. I adhered the solid clouds to the bottom of the Copic-colored rainbow and reserved the outlines for use elsewhere on the card. I also die cut some vellum clouds using the Cloud Borders die set. The combination of the sparkly glitter clouds and the vellum clouds helps to add extra depth and dimension to the project!

Once the images had been completed, I stamped a sentiment from the Rainbow Wishes stamp set, then die cut it with the coordinating dies. I added all of the components to the blended card front using dimensional and foam adhesive for extra dimension.

Well, that’s all for my project today! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a marvelous weekend!
