Hello friends! Happy new week! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and I have this adorable nursery scene card for you all. It’s a pop up card so the nursery has some dimension but folds flat to fit in a A2 standard sized envelop for easy mailing! I used bunch of the brand new stamps and dies from the Perfect Day release.

To make a pop up card base, I die cut the front and back panel using A2 Scene Builder Card Base die set, and three hills with the die in the A2 Mountain Scene Builder Add-On die set (two for the floor and one for the ceiling). TIP: You can just cut three strips of card stocks to the size for this. I was being lazy and just used the hill die and cut them down to thinner strips so they would look more like a part of the floor or ceiling.

Before putting together the pop up base, I stamped the images in the Sweet Nursery stamp set on a piece of pattern paper (from Spring Lullaby paper pad cut to size) to create the scene. You can color these images but I decided to stamp them with the mint ink and leave them as they were. I adhered the stamped panel to the back panel and then put the card base together. I stamped these images a bit too high so ended up adding a piece of card stock to hide the bottom of the panel so it didn’t look like everything is floating in the air. Lol!

I then die cut all the elements I wanted to include in the nursery from various card stocks. I used almost all the dies included in the Rock-a-Bye Baby die set (except the wall hanging). I just love how detailed these die cuts are! I added colors to some of them to enhance these details. After putting together these die cuts, I glued them on to the pop up card base. TIP: I layered extra die cuts on the back for some of the delicate ones so they were sturdier. I thought the nursery needed bit more color so went through my stash and found this banner looking die in the Rainbow Accents die set. I die cut them several times from gold and cream card stock (I added color with markers) and adhered them to look like they were hanging from the ceiling.

The sentiment and the banner are from Perfect Day set. I gold heat embossed them on a piece of peach card stock, die cut it with the coordinating die, and adhered it on the front panel.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!!
