Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today sharing some more inspiration using the Honey Bee Stamps patterned papers, which happen to be on sale this week!

If you’re like me, you buy beautiful 6×6 paper pads and then hoard them, unwilling to use them because you don’t want to “waste” them. But what do you buy them for if not to be used? Just to look at? And the patterns in the Honey Bee patterned paper pads are absolutely beautiful! I used one 6×6 panel from the Spring Fling patterned paper pack to create two projects today. Let’s get started with the details!

I began by trimming down an A2 panel of one of the pretty floral patterned sheets from the Spring Fling patterned paper pack, then trimming the remaining strip down to fit an A2 panel of cardstock. I wanted to maintain the coral, gray, and white color scheme with pops of black. I used some older Honey Bee products to create two projects with these patterned pieces.

For my first project, I adhered a coral die cut Hexagon Cover Plate onto a panel of light gray card stock. I then backed my strip of Spring Fling patterned paper with some white cardstock to add a touch of contrast to the two patterns. I popped it up using foam adhesive, then added a greeting from Truly Great Friend that I heat embossed on some vellum and framed with a black scalloped frame from the Truly Great Friend Honey Cuts die set. I hid the foam adhesive behind the black frame and layered it over the patterned paper strip.

For my second project, I used the full A2 sized panel of the Spring Fling patterned paper. I die cut a Double Stitched Polygon from some more bright coral cardstock. I also stamped the greeting from Deepest Sympathy and white embossed it on some strips of gray cardstock; I also die cut a black “sorry” from the Deepest Sympathy Honey Cuts die set. I added a few die cut flowers and foliage from the Bunch of Bouquets Honey Cuts die set. I layered all of the die cuts on the patterned paper panel, then added some gray flower centers with Oyster Gray Nuvo Drops to add a bit of extra texture to the card front.

Well, that’s all for my projects today! I hope you’ll be inspired to get your patterned paper packs out and put them to use.
