Hello crafty friends! Leanne here today and I have another fun Valentine’s card to share. This time I’m shaking things up by using a non traditional color palette. It was the Butterfly Kisses Sequin Mix that inspired the colors of my card. I just love the pretty pastel mix of colors.

This card measures 5×5″ and I started by die cutting the Postage Stamp Square base from heavy weight white card stock. I then die cut the Stitched Square frame to create the shaker element. I used the Pierced XOXO Hearts to cut out the opening and pink heart frame.

I used 3D adhesive foam strips to create the shaker well. A single layer of the 3D strips give plenty of room for the Butterfly Kisses Sequins to move around freely.

I stamped that cute bee (currently the Free Bee with a $50 purchase) in Copic friendly dark gray ink. I used Y00, Y15, & Y17 to color the bee. I added the bee with thin dimensional foam squares along with a greeting from the Hi Honey stamp set. For something a bit extra to accent the greeting, I added a few little die cut hearts. Lastly I adhered the completed shaker to a square card base that’s smaller than the Postage Stamp frame.
