Hello crafty friends! Leanne here today. I have a fun St. Patty’s Day inspired slimline card to share. I’ve repurposed one of the gnomes from Gnome Place Like Home and made him into a little leprechaun.

I started with a slimline card base (8.5″ by 3.5″). I used a combo of Twisted Citron and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide inks with a background blender brush to create the soft green ombre background.

I then used a combination of stamps and alpha dies to create the greeting which I’ve stretched out the length of the card. The stamped part is from a little set called Four Leaf Clover. I do believe this set was a promotional set released last year. I used the Bee Bold Alphabet Honey Cuts and some Welsh Gold Craft Perfect Glitter Card for the word “lucky”.

I Copic colored the little gnome to resemble a leprechaun, die cut with the coordinating Honey Cuts, and then adhered him with thin dimensional foam squares. To embellish the card I added some stamped four leaf clovers and a few Bee Mine clay hearts.

After creating this card, I realized that the Four Leaf Clover stamp set is currently not available in the Honey Bee Shop. If you do not have this set, I think there are many ways to incorporate the leprechaun gnome and the bold die cut word lucky into a card design with using other Honey Bee sentiment stamps and dies themed for friendship cards. Hopefully my design will help spark inspiration for your own lucky gnome cards. Until next time, happy crafting!
